Devkund waterfall get’s water from many small water stream from the Tamhini Ghat region. This place considered as Holy river and local people keep this place clean.
The water of this place is crystal clean, greeny and cold. The flow of water becomes extremely dangerous in monsoon season so this place closed in monsoon season. Many groups perform rappelling activity in this waterfall. Devkund waterfall is now commercialized and crowded. It is recommended to visit this place on weekdays to avoid the crowd.

Bhira village – Parking Point – Bhira Dam – Jungle Route – Small River Crossing – Jungle Route – Devkund Waterfall
Devkund waterfall trek starts from parking point and goes through the side of Bhira Dam. The route is simple, easy and marked. The route goes through dense forest. It is now compulsory to hire a guide for this trek. They charge Rs.100 per person.

How to Reach Devkund Waterfall
Get down at Khopoli Railway station. Khopoli can be easily reached from Mumbai, Pune and Thane. Khopoli Bus stop catch bus going to Pali Village. Now, from Pali catch bus going to Bhira village which is the base village for Devkund Waterfall.
From Mumbai to Bhira Village: Mumbai – Khopoli – Pali – Bhira Village
From Pune to Bhira Village: Pune – Karjat – Khopli – Pali – Bhira Village

Note: The Last bus from Bhira Village to Pali is scheduled at 5.00 pm. After this, there is no public transport available, you have to try your luck for hitchhiking.
